Monumental Sculptures
I balance these epic sculptures using my own 35-tonne crane. I mainly use Cornish granite boulders that have been shaped and sculpted by years of wind and rain.
I can also create a sculpture from your own stones, as I did for a project on Channel 4’s Grand Designs, or I can use massive boulders to create towering monumental sculptures to commission. These very large pieces are extraordinarily powerful and dramatic and have high visual impact. They make forceful civic installations and unforgettable garden sculptures.

How it Works
My monumental sculptures are created using a large crane to reposition the balancing stone. By re-stropping the stone (moving the supporting straps) it is possible to change its orientation over the point of contact until balance is achieved.
